Built by a single parent, for professionals to understand the impact of conditionality.

This site has a dual purpose: for parents to share their experiences of solo parenting to educate Job Centre coaches, advisors, social workers, and decision makers, and to compile evidence to inform policy change.

Parent Survey

Your experience matters.

Much research on Universal Credit conditionality focuses on challenges to work, i.e. childcare and lack of flexible working. Most of us haven't been asked what choices we would want to make for us and our children and why. Survey takes around 10 minutes, is anonymous, and you can skip questions you don't want to answer.
